About the role As our Audience Intelligence Lead , you'll be at the exciting intersection of data storytelling and strategic growth, uncovering the insights that power our connection with millions of women. This high-impact role combines analytical thinking with creative problem-solving to help us understand who our audience is, what they care about, and how they respond to our content and commercial campaigns.

You'll lead a dedicated team focused on turning these insights into opportunities that drive audience acquisition, deeper engagement, and strategic innovation across our platforms. Here's some of the stuff you can expect to be doing if you join us:

  • Analyse emerging market and platform trends to identify new content and product opportunities
  • Develop and deliver strategic insights that drive audience acquisition, retention and engagement
  • Own Mamamia's audience survey pipeline from design to analysis and insight delivery
  • Lead annual and bespoke research studies, including our Brand Tracker Support data-informed marketing initiatives across the funnel
  • Translate complex data into compelling narratives that influence decision-making
  • Guide team development through clear goal-setting, feedback, and coaching Improve data literacy across the organisation through workshops and knowledge-sharing

Now, a bit about you

  • You have 5+ years of experience in audience research, marketing analytics and/or insights
  • You're skilled in quantitative research with a track record of translating data into actionable strategies
  • You're experienced with survey and data tools (Q, Alchemer, SPSS, Excel, SQL, Google Analytics)
  • You have a talent for turning complex data into compelling, easy-to-understand narratives
  • You've successfully led or managed a team and collaborated across multiple departments
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy creative problem-solving You're passionate about women's media, digital innovation, and audience-driven growth
