Your opportunity
As a Regional Director, you can contribute to the State Development team by supporting responsible economic development and building liveable communities. You will assist to connect industry, businesses, community, and government at all levels to create place-based solutions that leverage regional strengths and unlock sustainable growth.
Your Responsibilities
Provide strategic advice and regional intelligence to the group and senior executives
Represent and advocate for the Department at a high level including with key regional stakeholders to ensure the government's economic development objectives are understood
Lead and manage industry and supply chain development, regional intelligence and stakeholder engagement and project facilitation and investment attraction
support regional leadership and capacity building to deliver on economic priorities of regional communities including the Local Economic Opportunities Network
Promote and deliver departmental programs such as targeted industry programs or the Regional Economic Future Fund
Ensure that the Regional Office and team comply with the Department's management systems and that the practices are consistent with ‘best practice', Government policies and legislative requirements
