Fine Line Design Solutions is seeking a talented Draftsperson to join our dynamic team in Kembla Grange, NSW. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced drafting professional to contribute to the continued success of our engineering design consultancy.
What You'll Be Doing
Design & Drafting: Design and create detailed technical drawings, 2D and 3D digital models, components, and assemblies using CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor etc.).
Collaboration: Work closely with mechanical engineers and other team members to understand design requirements and ensure drawings meet engineering specifications.
Revisions & Updates: Modify and update drawings as necessary based on feedback from engineers, project managers, or other stakeholders.
Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all drawings, revisions, and design documentation in compliance with company standards.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all drawings meet industry standards, compliance requirements, and quality controls.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve potential issues in designs, offering recommendations for improvements and modifications.
Time Management: Work within agreed timeframes to meet Client expectations, project deadlines & Budget constraints.
What We're Looking For
Qualification in Engineering Drafting or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Draftsperson, preferably in the industrial, manufacturing or construction industries.
Onsite experience.
Proficiency in using CAD software such as AutoCAD & Inventor.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, technical drawings and design processes.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Flexible and adaptable approach to working in a dynamic team environment.
