We offer a range of services including Harm Reduction and Primary Health Services as well as a range of treatment types (including residential treatment centres, community-based support programs, counselling, and withdrawal management services).


About the role

We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Clinician Lead, at our Ulverstone location. Reporting to the AOD Program Manager, this is a fixed-term position offering full-time hours until the March, 2027.

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS Award, level 6.

You will successfully
  • Work as part of a team along with AOD specialists and other professional workers to achieve the best outcomes for clients and their families.

  • Provide regular case review meetings with staff to monitor performance, compliance with policy and procedure and to provide advice and guidance in treatment planning.

  • Provide professional supervision to staff to assist with professional development and staff well being.

  • Conduct performance reviews and performance management with support from AOD Program Manager.

  • Ensure program delivery and quality.

  • Review and monitor processes and procedures.

  • Research and implement current Best Practices in the AOD sector.

  • Provide training and coaching to staff.

You will have (Requisite Skills & Qualifications)
  • Minimum of undergraduate qualification in social work, psychology, or related field

  • Current registration with the appropriate regulatory body

  • Experience in clinical management or coordination role, preferably with AOD and/or Mental Health Services.

  • High level clinical governance skills and experience

  • Experience in professional supervision (qualification or training in demonstrated model preferable)

  • Demonstrated ability to guide, support and lead staff

  • Working with Vulnerable Person Check

  • A National Criminal History Check is required
