As a Theatrical Employee , you’ll have the chance to demonstrate your passion and expertise by delivering exceptional audio-visual experiences that bring our upcoming productions to life.

This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your technical events experience across various productions at The Star Gold Coast.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Support the setup, operation, and integration of audio, video, and lighting equipment for performances
  • Provide live technical support, troubleshoot issues, and maintain equipment to ensure seamless operation
  • Work with the production team to manage cues, ensure safety compliance, and deliver a high-quality audience experience

What are we looking for:

  • Experience working in a live theatre or concert environment, with a background in Rock and Roll or theatre highly regarded.
  • Rigging ticket and EWP licence are advantageous.
  • Experience in the corporate audio-visual and live events industry.
  • Knowledge of, and ability to operate and program, lighting equipment in corporate, live event, or concert settings.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and in a close-knit team environment.
  • Flexible availability to meet business needs, including weekends and public holidays.
