Located in the heart of the Adelaide Convention Centre’s state-of-the-art East Building, Home Ground offers a welcoming and vibrant dining experience. With stunning views of the picturesque River Torrens, this modern venue features a relaxed indoor and outdoor dining setting, complemented by a full-service bar.

We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our dynamic Home Ground team. Working closely with the Sous Chef and Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, consistently delicious food for a diverse range of patrons. You’ll also provide guidance and mentoring to junior staff, helping to foster a skilled and enthusiastic kitchen team.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (trade qualification highly regarded).
• Proven experience in a fast-paced, à-la-carte restaurant environment.
• The ability to manage high-pressure service periods while maintaining quality and consistency.
• A willingness to adapt and occasionally work in the Adelaide Convention Centre's main kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards, with a commitment to practical implementation.
• Excellent availability and flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends across a 7-day roster

About the Role:

This is a casual position , with hours varying based on business needs. During peak periods, additional hours may be available for those who thrive in our dynamic environment. Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including days, nights, weekends, and event days, is essential.
