We are seeking an experienced industry professionals to join our client’s team in a full-time capacity.This is an exciting opportunity for professionals passionate about industry engagement, training, and workforce development.
EXPERIENCE IN: Construction and TradesTransport, Manufacturing and Logistics About the Role: You will build and manage relationships with key industries across the Northern Territory, providing advice and support on workforce development, skills shortages, and training solutions. You will be integral in helping industry stakeholders navigate workforce challenges and increase their capacity through effective vocational training and development strategies.
Key Responsibilities:Build and maintain relationships with industry groups, businesses, and training organisations.Provide expert advice on workforce development strategies and skills training.Support the implementation of industry-specific workforce solutions and training programs.Stay current with industry trends and ensure workforce strategies meet future needs.Promote the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector to industry stakeholders.Prepare high-level reports, deliver presentations, and represent the organisation at industry events and forums.
About You:
Experience or strong connections within at least one of the targeted industry sectors: Agribusiness, Arts, Personal Services, Retail, Tourism & Hospitality OR Building, Construction, and Property.Knowledge of the VET sector and workforce development strategies is highly desirable.Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.Strong administrative, time management, and organisational skills.Proven ability to engage and collaborate with industry stakeholders.A team player with a positive attitude and a focus on delivering results.
