We are highly committed to cultural awareness and safety through our service provision, ongoing professional development for staff, and quality improvement for service delivery through evidence-based practice and interventions.We are currently seeking an experienced, pro-active Occupational Therapy Support Officer to join our enthusiastic team in Darwin.About the position : The Occupational Therapy Support Officer (OTSO) is responsible for supporting the Occupational Therapists to empower clients to participate in daily tasks when their ability is compromised by a health condition and / or disability. The position contributes to the delivery of a high quality, culturally appropriate, and effective service.The position requires a highly organised person with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Required to work well both independently and cooperatively as a member of a team, the position requires a person who displays self-discipline with the ability to avoid distractions and diversions in order to manage their own time effectively.The successful candidate will have the ability to work under pressure whilst meeting deadlines, demonstrate attention to detail, show initiative, and take ownership of the tasks before them whilst maintaining a positive can-do attitude.The candidate chosen to join Eunoia Lane will have positive and contemporary values towards people with disabilities and must have the ability to interact, communicate, and engage effectively with diverse cultures.We are looking for an Occupational Therapy Support Officer who has a demonstrated ability to : Work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.Manage administrative requests and queries from the OT Team.Undertake research projects in a timely manner as directed.Perform data entry, documentation, printing, and filing duties.Contribute to team meetings, discussions, and planning with a willingness to share thoughts and ideas whilst maintaining flexibility and receptiveness to change and alternatives.Prepare and maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation including meeting minutes.Liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, community services, government agencies, customers, and service providers.Undertake further training and education.To apply for this position, you must have the following : Minimum 1 year experience in an administrative role.A current NT driver’s licence, with own vehicle.A current Working with Children (Ochre) card.A current national police clearance.If you feel you have the skills and experience to be an Occupational Therapy Support Officer with Eunoia Lane, and would love to join our fantastic team, please APPLY today!
