Financial Controller – Bensons Property Management Pty Ltd

Position Type: Financial Controller
Are you an experienced accountant looking to take the next step in your career? Bensons Property Management Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in managing the financial operations of a dynamic property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the accounting function for our property portfolio, including regular reconciliation of trial balance accounts.
- Preparation and presentation of management reports to the Directors and management team.
- Oversee payments to suppliers and employees.
- Liaison with banking partners, as required.
- Preparation and lodgement of Activity Statements with the ATO.
- Partnering with our advisors from major accounting firms in relation to the preparation of financial reports, income tax returns and advisory support.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Experience in property accounting.
- Tertiary qualification with accounting major, or similar.
- CA or CPA qualifications are preferred, but not essential.
