The Company
Our client enjoy promoting within the business and they offer fantastic training and support to someone coming into the team. As a long standing player in the accounting & audit field, they can offer someone exciting clients to work with and complex accounting and advisory work.
The Role
Take responsibility for a team of accountants while also managing a client portfolio. The clients are in various industries and sizes, and you your role will involve compliance and advisory work along with staff management.
Further Duties
- Work closely with the Partners in the office
- Portfolio management and staff management
- Preparation of accounts, tax returns, FBT returns, BAS and other compliance matters
- Work with accounting programs, such as MYOB, Xero and APS
- Effectively build relationships with clients and team members
- Reviewing work and training staff
The Applicant
- 3-5+ years’ experience in Business Services in Australia
- A university degree in relevant field (Accounting, Finance or similar)
- CA or CPA qualified or in the process of obtaining
- Attitude, career focus and communication skills are important for this opportunity
