Responsibilities/Missions
With the guidance and assistance of the management, you are ultimately assisting in growing the business by increasing our online visibility and coordinating events. As part of a small and supportive team, you have a 360 view of the business. Your key missions are:
- Supporting the planning and coordination of our event-related services and general event logistics, including online events
- Supporting the promotion of our events (online and in-person, where applicable) and community thanks to a strong communication plan
- Conducting post-event evaluations and debriefs to give inputs on how future events can be improved
- Contributing to Business Development activities
- Supporting our online marketing and communication activities for Australiance by creating visual contents, articles, newsletters and updating our website
- Assisting and expanding the company’s web presence through social media
- Participating in the company's overall digital strategic planning by suggesting additional activities such as PR, podcasts, events, speaking opportunities, and award applications
Requirements
Applicant Profile and Competencies / Technical Skills
- You are currently studying in a business or communications school or university and are available for an internship in Sydney
- You have successful professional experience in project management, event organisation, and communication and want to gain more practical experience by working with best-in-class IT tools
Key requirements
- You are a team player willing to face challenges
- You have a can-do attitude, combining high-level thinking and a hands-on approach
- You are a fast learner and proactive in your work
- You have great attention to detail
- You want to know more about the start-up ecosystem
- Your English is fluent, both written and spoken
- IT: good knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Office suite, Wordpress, Canva, Linkedin, and Collaboration tools. Skills in Customer Relationship Management and Marketing automation would be a good bonus
