About the role
The Marketing and Communications Trainee will support the Marketing and Communications team with the development and implementation of a broad range of marketing and communication initiatives across ATSICHS Brisbane's programs, services, projects and events. They will provide general administration support and assist with the development and updating of digital and social media content.
Duties
- Responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of Marketing and Communications Team.
- Assist with the development of digital content.
- Assist with the production of internal marketing and communication content that reflects the organisation's key messages and core philosophy.
- Assist with the delivery of ATSICHS Brisbane Key events.

Skills And Experiences
Covid - 19 Requirements
- Immunization history showing you have received two doses of Covid 19 vaccine is encouraged.
Essential:
- Certificate III in Business Administration or another related field.
- Minimum one year's experience in a similar role.
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective interpersonal skills including high standard of customer service skills and a professional phone manner.
- Demonstrated ability to write, edit and produce high quality and creative communications for a variety of audiences and platforms.
- Experience with social media content.
- Current and Valid National Police Check.
- Working with Children's Card (Blue Card) or eligible to apply.
- Current and valid Australian Driver's Licence.
Desirable, but not mandatory:
- Experience working within an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation.
- Willingness to take direction and work as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to meet targets and performance outcomes.
