Full Job Description

Intro Recruitment Solutions is working closely with an industry leading companies who specialise in commercial and fit out based projects with custom designs for refurbishment in multiple industries including small commercial fit out, hospital refurbishment, aged care projects and Residential Builds.
Due to the commencement of multiple projects based in Brisbane, The Gold Coast as well as surrounding areas, there is are opportunities for aspiring Leading Hand Carpenters who are looking to progress their career with well known companies. Our clients will look to progress suitable candidates into Foreman positions.
Candidate duties will include:

• General Carpentry
• Working alongside Site Managers and Project Coordinators to meet deadlines, contract and project time frames
• OH&S
• Subcontractor site inductions
• Manage small teams of carpenters and subcontractors

Candidate Skills and Qualifications will include:

• Trade Qualification in Carpentry
• 3 years industry experience
• Strong commercial experience
• Insurance experience highly recommended
• High attention to detail, pride in workmanship and ability to work autonomously
• Full set of own carpentry tools
• Any construction based Qualifications or degree highly sort after but not necessary

Fulltime packages will be negotiable based on experience however will potentially include the below:

• $90-$110K + Salary with career progression
• Work Vehicle
• Travel Allowance
• Meal Allowance
• Phone and computer
