What does TLR Do?
TLR's primary focus is providing Trades & Technical Contracted Resources for Fixed plant asset life cycle Solutions for the Manufacturing, Warehouse Automation to the Recycling and Renewables sectors, creating employment opportunities both in the Trades and Technical Engineering fields. The Role
If you are tenacious, confident in Sales and can build rapport easily from shop floor to Senior Management, ensuring outstanding service and delivery to our clients, we want to hear from you!
You will be responsible to grow sales and profitability by selling TLR services, utilising all the company’s essential business services and solutions, whilst providing exceptional proactive service to our clients and employees onsite and maintaining those relationships. The ideal applicant should have a track record in technical roles such as production, mechanical or electrical engineering, or trades such as mechanical or electrical with a strong desire for consultative orientated solution outcomes. Those who possess drive, enthusiasm for business growth and safety, whilst enjoying autonomy and self-direction will find this a rewarding and fulfilling role.
This is a full-time permanent position selling to and servicing our clients in Melbourne and outer suburbs. This role offers an attractive salary between $80k - $100k plus super with a company vehicle and incentive bonuses to reward achieving business growth.

Role responsibilities include: - Selling strategies to drive technical sales and profitability for business growth. - Provide exceptional service delivery to both clients and employees. - Client Order Management and Onboarding. - Facilitate and promote all Safety, Health, Environment & Quality compliance. - Develop and maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet TLR core values. - Accurate and timely Sales reporting and employee servicing as per TLR’s Value Proposition. - Provide administrative support for reporting and bid proposal preparation, including formal presentations and attending industry events.
Primary Qualifications Minimum Cert 3 Trade or Cert 5 in either Business and/or Engineering to Australian Qualifications Framework (mandatory).
Skills and Experience - Demonstrable previous experience in a similar role and/or industry with the ability to close sales based on value, not price. - Outstanding communication and influencing skills from shop floor to board room. - Previous experience in engineering/maintenance environment and a sound knowledge of resource planning, project management and sales. - Genuine interest in the health and wellbeing of employees and the environment. - Strong planning and multi-tasking skills. - Strong computer skills in MS software such as MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel. - Excellent verbal and written communication techniques. - Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise.
