  • A pivotal role coordinating the delivery of a range of educational programs

The Smith Family is a national children’s education charity that works with children and young people experiencing poverty to overcome their circumstances and reach their full potential by providing holistic, long-term support for their education.
About the role
We are seeking a Programs Coordinator to manage and deliver the Learning for Life program and help achieve The Smith Family's vision. Reporting to the Team Leader, Learning for Life and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, you will:
  • Establish and maintain Partner School relationships and monitor progress, planning and implementation, and feedback on programs and activities
  • Continually monitor program delivery and ensure the database has accurate and up to date information
  • Advocate for and answer enquiries relating to The Smith Family educational programs
  • Meet with fellow team members to discuss potential improvements that can be made to the programs
  • Work with community leaders to identify partnership opportunities

About you
As well as passion for community, you will bring the following:
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and coordinating programs / projects
  • Proven experience in establishing and maintaining relevant partnerships
  • Demonstrated experience in administration
  • Hold a current driver’s license.
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated capability to manage and plan own work to achieve identified goals within time constraint
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience working collaboratively and effectively in a team environment
