We are currently seeking a Supervisor for our Adelaide Operations. This role will be responsible and accountable for supervising projects, operators, riggers and trades persons.

The Position:

  • Ensure job sites are inspected to ensure the correct equipment and personnel are utilised
  • Complete lift studies and co-ordinate and monitor site activities
  • Undertaking site observations, facilitate pre-start and toolbox meetings to ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently
  • Source lifting equipment as required
  • Implementing and managing operational plans by providing instruction, direction and feedback in a hands-on approach
  • Ensuring work is conducted in line with all of our Policies and Procedures

About you:

  • You will have experience in Supervising teams of employees preferably in crane and/or rigging and have outstanding people management and communication skills.
  • You will preferably have experience as a supervisor within shutdown operations, mining construction and maintenance work or have experience and knowledge of Mobile Cranes and equipment.
  • You will provide safety leadership and have a demonstrated ability to manage safety and take appropriate action in relation to managing hazards and incidents.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, and you are a resourceful and effective decision maker.
  • You will have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer focused and a “CAN-DO CAPABILITY” attitude.
  • You will be organised, have an ability to deal with multiple tasks at the same time and have a desire to work within a team to meet timelines and deliver quality work. Most of all you will have a great attitude and want to grow and be rewarded for your hard work.
  • You will hold the necessary high-risk licences in Crane Operations and Rigging and have Crane, Mining or Construction experience.
