RN Employment Services , focus and objective of the Community Development Program is to provide local people with sustainable employment. The Consultant role is responsible for providing the highest quality case management service and support the people of our regions.
The Consultant is responsible for supporting job seekers into training, employment and enterprise opportunities, developing realistic job plans for individuals, within a case management framework, mentoring participants to overcome barriers to employment in a culturally competent manner.
About you
• Previous experience in case management, including use of ESCN system highly desirable
• Previous experience in developing high quality relationships with people from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds (especially indigenous peoples)
• Sound organisational skills including attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously with limited supervision as well as participate in a team environment
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work within a compliance framework and achieve results in a timely fashion
• Empathy and understanding of the issues and challenges faced by staff and job seekers in remote communities
Essential Licences / Clearances
• NT Drivers Licence (Class C)
• National Police Check
• NT Working with Children (Ochre) Card

• Salary negotiable upon experience.

• 17.5% leave loading on annual leave
