As part of this team, you will join a leading company in the delivery of market-leading and innovative, cost-effective and safe and environmentally friendly mining services to blue-chip mining clients.
The Job
As the Senior Management Accountant for your own Division, you will be reporting to the General and Commercial Managers and responsible for all Divisional Accounting.
Duties
The role is a hands-on covering the month-end reporting and analysis for the Plant division. Key tasks include;

• End of month close and completion of all month-end journals
• Preparation of the month-end finance packs (reporting and analysis) engaging with the General Manager and Commercial Manager for review.
• Liaison with Sites and Operations to complete month-end close
• Forecasting and Budgeting for the Division.
• Reviewing and monitoring capital WIP accounts
• Inventory management.
• Supervise and support direct reports to ensure growth and development of the team.
• Working closely with IT for system testing and review.

You

• Strong commercial accounting and management accounting experience, preferably with a CA/CPA or equivalent
• Proven experience in the design of KPI analysis, business partnering, budgeting & forecasting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with operational teams to generate performance improvement.
• Experience within an engineering, manufacturing, or construction environment in a similar reporting function will be held in very high regard.
