Description
- Developing budgets and forecasts aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
- Monitoring grants and funding allocations to ensure compliance with funding agreements.
- Conducting variance analysis to track budget performance and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintaining strong internal controls to prevent fraud and financial mismanagement.
- Partnering with program managers and community leaders to support financial decision-making.
- Advising on cost-saving strategies to maximize impact within the community.
- Ensuring financial decisions align with the organization's mission to support regional communities.
Profile
A successful Senior Management Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant within the Not For Profit sector
- Strong knowledge of financial and management accounting principles
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Outstanding analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Job Offer
