Summary:
The project is a major Subsea / onshore linear project spanning deep into Rural Victoria. You will ensure the effective coordination and control of Engineering Works for this Project through activities of technical, engineering, inspection, scheduling, planning, survey, procurement and quality control based on Client’s standards. The Senior Project Engineer is responsible in assisting to ensure the safe and successful completion of the project on schedule, within budget and to the specified quality.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage project teams to ensure successful completion of projects within budget and on schedule
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against established goals
- Coordinate with stakeholders to identify project requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project risks
- Manage project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change requests
- Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Communicate project status and progress to senior management and other stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in a technical field
- Previous experience in Subsea, Linear and Rural projects.
- Strong technical background in engineering or a related field
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with project management software and tools
