Skills:
- Proven track record in business development within the freight forwarding industry
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Knowledge of logistics distribution & supply chain processes
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth in the freight forwarding sector
- Manage branch operations, including budgeting, staffing, and performance monitoring
- Lead a team of professionals to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Identify new business opportunities through networking and relationship-building
- Collaborate with internal departments to optimize operational efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development within the logistics distribution & supply chain industry
- Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding processes and regulations
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency required.
