Relationship Manager - NSW
Community Broker Network is Australia’s premier network of Insurance Brokers, focused on fostering growth and supporting our network of brokers. We are currently seeking an experienced Relationship Manager (NSW) to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage and develop relationships with new and existing brokers while contributing to the overall growth and success of the portfolio.
Purpose of the Role:
As a Regional Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining relationships with potential new members and key decision-makers. You will be responsible for supporting existing brokers, ensuring their compliance, providing coaching, and driving business growth. You will be the first line of management, helping to strengthen the region's presence within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruitment & Business Development:
Develop a recruitment pipeline of potential authorised brokers to meet new business targets. Actively source and recruit new members into the network.
• Broker Support & Service Plans:
Develop business and service plans for existing brokers, ensuring their growth and success within the network.
• Coaching & Upskilling:
Provide ongoing coaching and professional development to brokers, helping them improve their skills and achieve business objectives.
• Compliance & Escalation:
Ensure compliance within the region and manage any required counsel or remediation for network members. Provide support for placement/claims issues.
• Insurer Relationship Management:
Manage relationships with insurers and foster strong partnerships to support brokers’ business needs.
• Revenue & Reporting:
Support the financial growth of the region, ensuring timely reporting on revenue and key metrics. Provide monthly revenue reports to brokers and update Distribution SharePoint files on a regular basis.
• Community & Networking:
Promote and emcee Community Development Days and networking sessions, supporting the network and fostering collaboration.
Key Deliverables:
• Recruitment of new broker members to the network
• Revenue growth and debtor management
• Development and execution of business and service plans
• Retention of current network members
• Achievement of OKR (Objectives & Key Results) metrics, to be reviewed quarterly
Desired Experience & Skills:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in insurance broking practice or insurance preferred
• Proven track record in new business recruitment
• Strong experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships
• Tier 1 Insurance Broking Qualification preferred
