About the role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic ASTP Support Officer to be a vital part of our dedicated team. In this rewarding role, you'll provide exceptional customer service and support to parents, schools, contractors, and ASTP Officers, all while helping us achieve outstanding outcomes for our business unit.
As part of a dynamic team, you’ll play a key role in delivering safe and efficient transport services to students with disabilities across New South Wales, ensuring they have access to quality education in both government and non-government schools.

About you
The ideal candidate will:
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients over the phone, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering guidance in a professional and friendly manner.
- Perform a range of administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and managing documentation, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work within a small dynamic team environment
Key Knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
- Working with Children Check for paid employment
