Position Description
The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the office. This role ensures that the work environment is efficient, organized, and conducive to productivity. The Office Manager will lead the administrative team, manage office resources, and serve as a central point of communication between departments.
In a nutshell, this role requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills to maintain a productive and compliant office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily administrative operations to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly office environment.
- Develop, implement, and enforce office policies and procedures in compliance with relevant government regulations to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Manage and guide the administrative support team (e.g., receptionist, administrative assistant, Workplace coordinator).
- Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews to enhance team performance and service quality.
- Oversee the procurement, maintenance, and management of office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Organize and coordinate internal meetings, external events, business travel, and company activities.
- Maintain effective communication with all departments to facilitate smooth workflow and address any interdepartmental issues.
- Liaise with external vendors, property management, and service providers to ensure quality service delivery.
- Managing records and accounts of the office.
- Address and resolve any day-to-day office issues or emergencies promptly.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or higher in Business, Commerce, Management, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in office management or a related administrative role.
- Prior experience in managing a team is highly desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other office automation tools.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and Mandarin.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
