The Opportunity

As the IT Support Officer, you will ensure timely and effective IT support for Access Health and Community teams by providing hands-on assistance, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with IT teams and contractors. The role involves maintaining IT security, managing user profiles, and supporting infrastructure, cloud, and network services. Compliance with regulatory and organisational IT policies, including Essential 8 security standards, is essential. Additionally, the officer will contribute to IT projects, system improvements, and accreditation preparations. This role offers flexibility to work in Belgrave or Lilydale, and to work 3 days across the week with onboarding to be held at Hawthorn office.

What you will be doing Key responsibilities

  • Completion of IT tickets are completed in a timely manner
  • Establishment of new user profiles and closure of exiting staff profiles
  • Provision of technical support and guidance to the organisation
  • Base level knowledge (commensurate with the role) in operations and management of infrastructure services (on-premise and cloud), end-user computer services, security operations, service management processes, datacentre, telecommunications and server administration
  • Knowledge and experience in working with IT security policies and procedures aligned with regulatory standards and frameworks in line with Essential 8 compliance
  • Knowledge and experience in Network Security, Active Directory, Access Control, O365 & Azure
  • Completion of IT project work including infrastructure, telephony and systems

What you will bring

The skills and experience you will bring to this role as the successful candidate you will have: Key Selection Criteria

  • High level of IT Systems Acumen
  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft Azure IAAS, Office365 and Windows server
  • Advances skills with Microsoft programs including SharePoint, MS Teams, One Drive and MS Outlook
  • Network architecture and administration experience with appropriate certification
  • Prior experience in Desktop Support and Helpdesk Administration
  • Excellent troubleshooting– desktop computers, laptops, iPad and printers etc
  • Knowledge and experience in working with IT security policies and procedures aligned with regulatory standards and frameworks in line with Essential 8 compliance
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative partnerships and stakeholder relationships across all levels of the organisation
