- Configure, secure, and manage Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services in alignment with Financial Services requirements, utilizing security frameworks such as Essential8, NIST, and CIS.
- Implement and support Azure services, including Azure Active Directory (AAD), Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Key Vault, Azure Firewall, Azure Defender, Azure Intune, Azure Security Centre, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Policy.
- Administer, support, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows (IaaS) environments, Active Directory, File/Print services, MSSQL, and Internet Services (e.g., zScaler).
- Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, and other tools for infrastructure deployments, configuration management, and continuous deployment.
- Implement cloud recovery strategies and disaster recovery plans, utilizing tools and techniques for backup, restore, and business continuity within Azure Cloud.
- Deploy and configure system monitoring, performance optimization, and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Azure Monitor) to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Develop automation and scripting solutions in PowerShell, Bicep, Terraform, Python, or other languages to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate in managing and supporting Microsoft 365 and Intune environments to ensure seamless integration and performance.
- Contribute to the design and optimization of Azure Cloud Networking solutions.
- Work with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment, handling multiple priorities while ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
- Uphold and promote ITIL processes such as incident, change, problem, and configuration management within cloud infrastructure operations.
- Continuously evaluate and integrate the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices to maintain and improve cloud infrastructure.
- Relevant tertiary IT qualifications or equivalent industry experience and certifications.
- Proven experience in a senior Azure Cloud Engineering role, with in-depth knowledge of configuring, securing, and managing Azure services to meet Financial Services standards.
- Demonstrated experience with Azure services such as Azure Active Directory, Storage, Networking, Key Vault, Defender, Intune, Security Centre, Sentinel, and Policy.
- Strong understanding of managing and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows environments, including Active Directory, File/Print, and MSSQL.
- Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Azure DevOps, Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates).
- In-depth experience with cloud recovery, backup, restore, and disaster recovery techniques within Azure Cloud.
- Advanced skills in automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bicep, Terraform, Python, etc.).
- Experience managing Microsoft 365 and Azure Intune environments.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Networking.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes, including incident, change, problem, and configuration management.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and always eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer, or other relevant certifications).
- Experience in deploying and supporting security frameworks and standards such as NIST, CIS, or Essential8.
- Familiarity with security and monitoring tools like Azure Sentinel, Defender, and Security Centre.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for Azure environments.
