About the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Casual Administrator to join our Nursing team at our City Campus.
Within this role you will provide a range of administration support and coordination including course enquiries, financial administration, general office-administration and student assistance. You will be providing a high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders including responding to complex enquiries.
You will be working closely with the Senior Administrator and Leadership team in the preparation, interpretation and data entry of student records information on the student management system.
The Administrator is a member of the Nursing team within the Faculty of Health, Community, Disability and Animal Sciences. The Faculty provides a wide range of teaching and learning programs at local and international campuses delivering nationally recognised training to over 3,000 students in courses ranging from Certificates to Diploma level qualifications.
Disciplinary areas include nursing, aged care, community services, children’s services, animal sciences, veterinary nursing, equine studies, and laboratory science. Vocational education and training courses provide pathways into rewarding careers with opportunities for articulation into Higher Education.
Please note this role is based at our City campus and the casual rate is PACCT 4 $41.61 per hour plus superannuation.
About You:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role. Experience in administration of educational delivery and/or professional services is an advantage
- A relevant qualification in business administration (desirable)
- Experience in dealing confidently and courteously with people at all levels, and a commitment to providing a high level of customer care in an administrative role
- High level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience in preparing high quality, accurate correspondence and reports to stakeholders
- Ability to use all MS Office applications proficiently for a range of tasks including generating letters, reports and database management is essential
- Knowledge of information management systems including Student One, CELCAT and Finance One is highly advantageous
- Experience in working collaboratively as part of a team to achieve team goals, including excellent organisational skills, flexibility during peak periods, and ability to adapt to changing priorities is essential
