They are known for delivering successful projects of all sizes for clients in the multi-unit residential, commercial, industrial, retail, tourism, public utility, sporting complex, senior living, public domain, public spaces, and government sectors. Multiple offices through NSW + VIC.
THE ROLE
Seeking a Senior Access Consultant with the long-term vision for this person to lead and manage the Access department. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Access Consultant with strong leadership skills, capable of managing team members, winning work, and growing the team.
DUTIES
- Review design documentation, prepare markups, prepare and respond to client correspondence
- Prepare written reports and certificates
- Provide professional advice to clients and develop / maintain business relationships
- Attend and participate in client briefings, meetings, and workshops
- Conduct site inspections during construction and prepare defects reports
- Conduct audits of existing buildings and prepare reports
- Maintain project files and records
- Conduct research
- Develop solutions for performance-based compliance
- Provide input into fee / tender submissions and invoicing
- Desktop reviews of architectural drawings
- Site inspections and audits
- Provide clear and concise advice and access reports
- Provide verbal and written accessibility advice
- Provide assistance with the preparation of fee proposals
ABOUT YOU
- Demonstrated work experience as an Access Consultant (2+ years)
- Experience developing Performance-based alternative solution reports preferred
- Certificate IV in access consulting
- Association of Consultants in Access, Australia (ACAA) – Associate or Accredited Membership
