An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Integrated Care Rehabilitation Team at the Bundaberg Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:
- To provide high level rehabilitation and geriatric occupational therapy clinical services to clients of the Integrated Care Rehabilitation Service.
- To lead and manage the allied health assistants within the multidisciplinary Integrated Care Rehabilitation team.
- To provide clinical practice supervision and clinical development to allied health assistants within the multidisciplinary Integrated Care Rehabilitation team.
- The position will focus on providing occupational therapy programs for the rehabilitation of older people who have been discharged after an acute or sub-acute episode of care; preventing inappropriate and avoidable admissions to acute care or permanent residential aged care; and clinical supervision of Allied Health Assistants in their implementation of therapy programs.
Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from 31 st March 2025 until 5 th April 2026 with the possibility of extension

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $157,360 p.a., comprising salary between $128,169 - $137,918 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from 31 st March 2025 until 5 th April 2026 with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
