Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Store Person to join our team in Melbourne, VIC . If you’re a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you’re the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.
Your role
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Reporting to the Logistics & Facilities Coordinator, ensure that you maintain regulatory compliance for Aeronautical products, Safety for dangerous goods within area of responsibility and hazardous items packed and transported from /into the store.
- Responsible safety and compliance with the Store Persons area of responsibility.
- Maintain stock & MIS integrity and Stock control through accurate data interfacing with Maintenance Inventory systems, compliant stock segregation and storage and receipt inspection for incoming aeronautical parts & tooling
- Support to immediate engineering teams for equipment/aeronautical products required for maintenance tasks
- Adherence to additional safety /security related regulations such as/ but not limited to: NHVR COR regulations, Known consignor regulations, airport security, group policies and EAR/ITAR regulations
- Experience within a Stores or 3PL logistics environment
- Experience within aviation engineering environment.
- Ability to follow supervisory direction;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
- Passion for safe work practices;
- Valid work visa;
- Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and,
- Current Australian licences to operate vehicles/machines.
