An exciting and unique opportunity exists for a talented and passionate individual to join the Strategic Communications, Engagement and Protocol branch (SCEP) as Senior Campaign Advisor at the Department of Premier and Cabinet.The Strategic Communication, Engagement and Protocol (SCEP) branch provides specialist communication and protocol advice and support to DPC and the Premier's Private Office.
The Senior Campaign Adviser is responsible for providing high-quality and effective marketing and communication advice in support of the delivery of key priority government campaigns. This includes the development and the delivery of marketing campaigns and assisting the Senior Campaign Manager.
This also includes issues and risk management, media and stakeholder engagement services and advice to senior stakeholders and portfolio-aligned teams within DPC.
About You
As our ideal candidate, you will bring:
- Well-developed specialist skills to develop and coordinate multiple marketing and campaign projects, incorporating relevant research and analysis to achieve desired business outcomes.
- Ability to think strategically and conceptually to address complex challenges and develop marketing strategies and solutions to address them.
- Demonstrated flair and creativity in a wide range of marketing activities and the ability to think beyond traditional strategies for communication.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including in writing, editing and producing high-quality briefs, proposals and marketing materials.
- Project management and other expertise associated with the implementation of marketing projects and programs including budgeting and logistics, media planning and buying and supplier liaison.
- Ability to work in a complex, sensitive and demanding environment, with a high degree of responsibility and resilience to meet urgent deadlines and changing priorities.
