About the Role:

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Speech Pathologistto join their multidisciplinary supportive team. As a Speech Pathologist you will be:

  • Screenings: This position involves performing individual, observation-based speech and language screenings with preschool and kindergarten children in various settings such as preschools, daycare centers, and schools. The results of these screenings, along with any recommendations, will then be communicated to both the children's families and their educators.

Finally, the assessor collaborates with parents to create individualized goals and provides classroom strategies and resources to educators.
  • Intervention & Ongoing Care: Regular review assessments should be conducted to track progress toward established goals. Progress reports should be provided after each assessment and also be made available to parents and educators upon request. Finally, children should be discharged from services once they have achieved their designated goals.
  • Collaboration & Communication: To ensure the child receives the best possible care, it is crucial to maintain open and consistent communication with all relevant parties, including parents, educators, and other professionals involved in the child's well-being.
