We have recently been purchased by Avia Solutions Group and have plans to expand our current operation to include ACMI services led by jet aircraft.

You will be a professional and presentable team player with a passion for excellent customer service. You must be detail focused and able to provide practical solutions to arising issues. You will be looking for a role where you can have fun whilst demonstrating your professionalism and your flair for working with people.
What You Will Do
Join our team in Cairns for casual morning or afternoon shifts, including weekends. Work 20-25 hours weekly over 3-4 days in a 3-week rotation
Reporting to the Base Supervisor, the role will typically see you:
• Responsible for providing passenger support at check in at both the General Aviation and Domestic Airports, including the issuing of airline tickets and marshalling of passengers to and from aircraft
• Managing remote station paperwork (administration – manifests, passenger statistics, invoicing, cargo/freight)
• Ordering of fuel at remote stations upon request
• Managing cargo bookings for NHS and Animals etc.
• Ordering of equipment and stock (bag tags etc.)
• Assist with special requests, seats and meals, wheelchair, exit row seating, medical requests
• Schedule change and disrupt management call outs as well as disrupt management at the airport (e.g. meal vouchers, coordinating outstations and providing information to disrupted passengers)
• Thorough and accurate information to be provided to internal and external customers
• General administrative processes using Microsoft Office software, AmeliaRES and Air Maestro
• Generating manifests for outports
• Completing the internal freight manifest generation process for all ports.
• Generating preliminary documents e.g. manifests, SSR’s
• Liaising with agents in outports and providing them with administrative support
What You Need to Succeed
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience working in a customer facing service position
• Capable of maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders internally and externally
• Capacity to work independently with minimal direction and collaboratively in a team environment
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
• Dangerous Goods Certificate or the ability to obtain
• Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
