Each role will have a have combination of only some, or all of these tasks:
- Locations throughout metropolitan Melbourne
- Various hours, days and lengths of assignment to suit your availability
- Daily and monthly reconciliations of Residential and/or Commercial tenancies
- Downloading of daily rents
- All month end functions & rollover
- Basic knowledge of general ledger
- Understanding of Commercial Trust accounts, GST implications, debits and credits, accrual accounting, ideal but not essential
- Prepare monthly tax invoices for Commercial tenants
- Amend and adjust tax invoices when required
- Upload banking
- Upload creditor payments
- Statement runs
- Processing & payment of creditor invoices
- Record management including management authorities
- Assist PM's with rental adjustments
- Landlord file maintenance
- Landlord & Tenant file reconciliations
- Create and release property sale deposits
- Pay external commissions from property sale deposits as required
- Arrange for the issue of Bank Cheques
- Processing of purchase orders
- Payroll, Superannuation, BAS and Tax
- Accounts payable & Accounts Receivable
- Work with annual auditors
About you:
- MUST be proficient in one or more software packages - Property Me, Property Tree, Cirrus8, MRI, Released, REST, Console or RP Office (Macpro)
- Experience with Accounting software such as XERO and MYOB would be ideal, but not essential
- Minimum 2 years experience in a Real Estate Trust Accounting role
- Agents Rep Certificate or Cert IV Estate Agents License ideal, but not essential
- Enjoy contributing to a team

- High attention to detail
- Strong with numbers
- Strong computer skills -
- Friendly, upbeat personality
- Ability to multi task

- Communicate with a number of external and internal customers.
- Good understanding of the processes and requirements of the role
- Ability to express this understanding in order to provide or receive the information required.
