Key Responsibilities:
- Local Area Knowledge
- Identify and target key accounts locally.
Network and promote our presence at community meetings, tourism events, and local business associations.
- Stay informed of local activities and developments to identify opportunities.
Sales Planning
- Contribute to the Business Plan development.
- Monitor property performance against budget, occupancy levels, and room rates.
- Conduct market and competitor analyses to align property positioning.
- Develop and update Sales Activity and Promotional Plans.
- Plan and schedule sales activities for key accounts.
Sales Calls
- Prepare and deliver effective presentations.
- Schedule and conduct sales calls and face-to-face meetings with key accounts.
- Build and maintain relationships with account representatives.
- Gather and share market intelligence.
- Sales Activity Reporting
- Review reservation activity reports to identify and action leads.
- Analyze company stay reports and monitor trends for future sales planning.
- Maintain and manage the Property Sales System database.
Marketing
- Develop advertising and promotional ideas for the property.
- Establish and nurture relationships with relevant organizations to enhance the brand.
- Prepare marketing materials using approved corporate collateral.
Other Duties
- Collaborate with the Corporate Office and Hospitality team to enhance sales activities.
- Undertake additional duties as directed by the General Manager.
Qualifications:
- Educational qualification in Real Estate with an understanding of the Perth hospitality/service apartment market.
- 5+ years of service apartment leasing experience in a similar role.
- Proven ability to increase revenue and meet leasing quotas.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Strong organizational, time management, and administration skills.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
