Task & Responsibilities- Design, configure, and maintain computer networks, including LAN, WAN, and VPN.
- Perform network troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and other network issues.
- Install, configure, and manage firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless devices.Install, configure, test, maintain, and administer new and upgraded networks, software database applications, servers, and workstations.
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders to assess IT infrastructure needs and recommend tailored solutions.
- Implement security measures to safeguard network and data integrity.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams.
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Conduct regular system upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance.
- Bachelor’s degree inBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering or related IT roles.
- Proven experience with network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, HP, etc.) and protocols.
- Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and network security best practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Industry certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to system improvements.
