Calvary is offering a unique opportunity to make a difference as an experienced People and Culture Partner while enjoying the unique lifestyle that Tasmania offers.
As a People and Culture Partner, you will play a key role in supporting managers with a wide range of matters, including performance management, grievances, workplace investigations, and disciplinary processes. You will become the go-to expert, providing invaluable advice, coaching, and support to our amazing team of people leaders and employees across Calvary Hospitals, Aged Care, and Home Care.
Your main duties will include:- Interpret, provide advice and apply employment legislation policies and procedures.
- Provide accurate and timely advice, coaching and support to managers and employees across all aspects of people and culture matters.
- Support the People and Culture Manager and other leaders with change initiatives, review and classification of position descriptions, develop change and communication plans, facilitation of consultation with unions and employees whilst ensuring adherence to industrial instruments.
- Attend management and team meetings as required and share topical people and culture information, keeping abreast of and understanding current challenges facing Aged Care, Home Care and Hospitals.
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in performance management, project management, workforce development, industrial/employee relations case management, change management
- Proven ability to interpret relevant industrial instruments such as Awards and Enterprise Agreements, including classifications and rates of pay.
- Strong analytical skills to lead and undertake workplace investigations and disciplinary processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain trusted, collaborative and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
