- Lead and manage the team, ensuring safe and efficient asset maintenance
- Ensure compliance with OEM specifications and legislative requirements at all times
- Drive team efficiencies and promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Monitor and maintain team performance to meet both strategic and operational goals
- Foster a positive team environment through strong communication, guidance, and support
- Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on heavy diesel machinery, including American and European trucks and trailers
- Ordering and replacing parts as needed, keeping accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Communicating effectively with supervisors and other team member
- Australian or NZ recognised Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic
- Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
- Demonstrated experience working on heavy diesel machinery
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and drive team outcomes
- High level of professionalism and integrity in all work interactions
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
