What Does a Day as a Maintenance Team Leader Look Like?
  • Lead and manage the team, ensuring safe and efficient asset maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with OEM specifications and legislative requirements at all times
  • Drive team efficiencies and promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • Monitor and maintain team performance to meet both strategic and operational goals
  • Foster a positive team environment through strong communication, guidance, and support
  • Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on heavy diesel machinery, including American and European trucks and trailers
  • Ordering and replacing parts as needed, keeping accurate records of work performed and parts used
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Communicating effectively with supervisors and other team member
Our Key Skills and Experience
  • Australian or NZ recognised Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • Demonstrated experience working on heavy diesel machinery
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and drive team outcomes
  • High level of professionalism and integrity in all work interactions
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Commitment to workplace safety
