About the role
The Mater Hospital Administration team has an exciting opportunity available for a motivated Senior Administration Officer/Business Support Officer to support the Mothers, Babies and Women’s Health Services
This position will be offered as a maximum term contract for 6 weeks, full time 38 hours per week. The successful candidate will be available to work Monday – Friday.
Salary range: $38.81 - $43.16 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
General Administration
- Diary management
- Assist with meetings / huddles
- Review and support the preparation of reports
- Maintain and support areas specific spreadsheets / databases / calendar
- Updating databases / systems for departmental use
- Coordination of jobs including follow up outstanding requests
- Liaising with internal & external departments
- Undertake operational requests from Departmental Management
- D365 requests
- Assist in arrangements for workshops, forums, education, etc.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Experienced in providing medical administration support
- Highly developed time management and organisational skills
- Strong computer skills including competence in using Patient Administration systems (or the ability to quickly learn new systems)
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to organise and prioritise work effectively within a busy, fast-paced, demanding environment
- Advanced IT skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- A positive attitude and approach to work with a commitment to excellent service and accuracy
