About the role
As the Business Development Manager , you’ll be at the forefront of expanding our Thin Surfacing business. You’ll play a critical role in developing new client relationships, securing contracts, and driving business performance while working alongside a highly experienced and supportive team.
What you’ll be doing
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities while strengthening existing client relationships
- Leading bid and tender preparation, ensuring strategic, high-quality submissions
- Monitoring industry trends and market conditions to drive business strategy
- Collaborating with key internal stakeholders, including operations and estimating teams
- Representing the business at industry events to increase brand visibility
- Coaching and mentoring a small team to ensure long-term business success
What you’ll bring
- 7+ years of experience in the civil infrastructure industry
- Strong business development and estimating skills (spray seal/pavement experience preferred)
- A strategic mindset with the ability to build lasting client relationships
- A track record of securing high-value contracts and driving revenue growth
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities
- The ability to work autonomously while collaborating across teams
