How will I help?
Westpac Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Leadership Moderator to support our new leadership development program, LEAD. This role partners with the Facilitator to ensure outstanding leadership development for our People Leaders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster a positive and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Facilitator to deliver leadership development for People Leaders.
- Support learning outcomes for assigned cohorts across all learning environments (face-to-face, virtual, and online).
- Moderate discussions, provide support, and maintain the quality of content.
- Actively prepare, facilitate, and guide discussions and related interactions.
- Support and partner with the primary facilitator in face-to-face and virtual workshops.
- Advocate Westpac Group strategy and deliver key messages of LEAD in all interactions.
- Monitor discussions, forums, and chat rooms to ensure respectful and productive communication.
- Assist participants with technical issues, course materials, and understanding course content.
- Evaluate and provide feedback on course materials to ensure accuracy, relevance, and engagement.
- Encourage active participation and collaboration among learners through various interactive activities.
- Oversee the administration of surveys and evaluations, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collect and analyze data on learner performance and engagement to identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of learning programs by providing insights and recommendations.

What do I need?
To be successful in this role, the successful candidate should have:
- Demonstrated experience facilitating a range of behavioural and technical learning programs.
- Understanding and experience in virtual learning solutions, including webinar technology and social media platforms.
- Knowledge of training methodologies, principles, and processes, including virtual delivery technology.
- Understanding of adult learning principles and facilitation techniques.
- Professional and proactive approach with a learner-centric attitude.
- Ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent written and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage audiences with passion and enthusiasm.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable).
