About You
You are an experienced finance administrator with 3-5 years in a large corporate environment, high volume AP.
You have a strong understanding of accounting principles, paired with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Your communication and interpersonal skills set you apart, allowing you to collaborate effectively with team members. Proficiency in Excel and MS Office products is essential, enabling you to manage tasks efficiently and contribute to our success.
You will be reliable, professional, organised and show initiative, while also demonstrating a strong customer service orientation and have exceptional business acumen.
About The Role
This unique role requires a true generalist who will be heavily involved in transactions for the first six months as we onboard Monarto Resort, focusing on Accounts Payable (0.6) and Accounts Receivable (0.4). After this initial period, you will transition into Corporate Accounting at a 0.6 capacity, while still maintaining a presence in Accounts Receivable for Monarto Resort at 0.4.
Key responsibilities will include :
- Data Entry and Transaction Recording: Accurately enter financial data into accounting systems, ensuring all transactions are recorded promptly and correctly.
- Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
- Support Month-End Close: Help with the month-end closing process by preparing journal entries, maintaining schedules, and ensuring all financial data is up to date.
- Document Management: Organize and maintain financial documents, ensuring they are easily accessible and properly filed for future reference.
- Assist with Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of basic financial reports and statements under the supervision of senior accountants.
- Ad Hoc Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks as needed, such as data compilation, report generation, and assisting with special projects or research tasks as directed by supervisors
