About the Role
As an Administrative Officer for the Echocardiogram Service, you will be a key player in providing a seamless, professional reception and clerical service for the Cardiology team. Reporting to the Coordinator, Cardiology, your role involves managing patient bookings for the echocardiogram service, preparing necessary documentation, and handling a wide range of enquiries from patients, their families, hospital staff, and other stakeholders. You’ll ensure smooth administrative processes, enabling the team to deliver high-quality care to patients while maintaining confidentiality and efficiency.
Working as part of the dynamic administrative team within the Cardiology Unit, you’ll also have the flexibility to step into the roles of other administrative officers as needed, contributing to the overall success of the unit. This role offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a supportive and collaborative environment, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care while supporting your colleagues with essential administrative tasks. About You
We are looking for a proactive and resourceful individual with strong administrative skills. To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualities:
- Strong numeracy, literacy, and filing skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure
- Proven experience in Microsoft Office, data entry, and administrative systems, along with the ability to use office equipment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality, quality service, and a positive attitude towards change and new information
