About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Admin Officer to play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth running of our hospital. In this dynamic position, you will perform a range of clerical and administrative duties, including confidential reception tasks, patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, all while ensuring optimal patient care. Your teamwork approach will see you collaborating closely with clinical and nursing staff, ensuring timely and efficient bed management and ward administration.
Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to lead and mentor new ward clerks, providing valuable training and fostering a supportive environment. Your ability to liaise with various hospital departments and staff will be essential in ensuring seamless operations and assisting in the delivery of both general and clinical care to our patients. About You
We are looking for an Admin Officer who is passionate about providing excellent service and thrives in a dynamic environment. You will bring the following skills and experience:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure, all while maintaining high-quality work.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, and adaptability in changing environments.
- Experience with administrative duties, Microsoft Office, and maintaining confidentiality in sensitive situations.
