The Jean Hailes Clinics are highly regarded specialist in women’s health clinics. One clinic is in Melbourne CBD and the other in Clayton. The Operations Clinic Team are pivotal and responsible for delivering patient centred, proficient clinical services for approximately 40 Clinicians across different disciplines.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, this is a permanent role offering full-time hours. Ideally you will have experience as a Medical Receptionist in a general practice and enjoy delivering optimal customer service.
The Role Includes:
- Providing helpful customer service to patients on the phone and in person
- Answering the phone, booking patients and managing the waitlist
- Processing billing, payments, patient referrals
- Assisting in completion of faxing, scanning and sending documents to patients and specialists
- Maintaining the consultant rooms and reception area in readiness and support
- Liaison with nurses, clinicians, team members and the Practice Manager
About You
Essential Criteria
- To be considered for this role you must have:
- A minimum of 1+ years' experience as a Medical Receptionist in a GP or Specialist Clinic.
- Experience with Best Practice Software
- Knowledge of MBS Billing, Tyro, EftPos, Hicaps
- Have a motivated, organised and friendly approach
- Deliver excellent communication skills
- Effective Time Management
Desirable Criteria
- Experience with HotDoc Booking system
