The Role
Make a difference in our community!

This role is a key growth area planning position that provides planning advice and assessment of intermediate and complex growth area subdivisions and developments. You will manage a range of exciting growth area development and subdivision applications to ensure our growth area developments and land uses reflect City of Whittlesea’s objective and standards whilst also meeting statutory requirements and community expectation.

About you

  • You have good knowledge of the Planning and Environment Act 1987 and related planning legislation, regulation, standards, and case laws.
  • You can effectively manage and process planning permit applications.
  • You have proven experience in providing planning expert advice.
  • You can advocate and appear before VCAT and other public forums when required.
  • You enjoy work in collaboration with others
  • You can live and uphold City of Whittlesea’s values to deliver great outcomes for our community.
