About the role…

As a Team Leader within our Property Management division, you will utilise your industry knowledge and business acumen to support and mentor a team of property professionals. You will lead by example in this hands-on role, overseeing the day to day activities of your team to ensure the highest standard of service is delivered.
Duties include;
  • Monitor becoming vacant and vacant properties ensuring properties are advertised with good descriptions, photos and open times.
  • Ensure Rental Providers with vacant or becoming vacant properties are spoken to and updated minimum twice a week.
  • Ensure rental arrears, inspections and rental reviews are compliant and with KPI requirements.
  • Ensure that Property Managers maintain accurate reviews of all vacating Renters’ bonds to ensure that they are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner and that all applications to VCAT are applied for within 14 days of the Renter vacating.
  • Oversee and supervise paperwork, applications and cases for tribunal hearings and represent clients as required.
  • Liaise regularly with Rental Providers regarding VCAT hearings and general property updates.
  • Assist and encourage your team to generate new business from properties within their portfolio.
  • Minimise Lost Managements.
  • Manage a portfolio and cover Property Managers on Personal and Annual Leave if necessary.
  • Ensure that MICMs portfolio is managed to the highest standards while consistently delivering excellent customer service.
What you will need to bring with you;
  • Extensive experience in a residential Property Manager role
  • Proven ability to mentor and motivate staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Initiative and sound problem solving skills
  • Strong time management skills with a diligent, proactive approach.
  • Flexibility, professional manner and time management skills.
