About this Position:
Are you a finance professional looking for a temporary opportunity to make an impact? Lismore City Council is seeking aCreditors Coordinator to join our team on a parental leave relief contract until May 2026. As the Creditors Coordinator, you will coordinate the operations of the creditors function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments while supporting internal and external stakeholders. You will oversee Finance Officers responsible for creditor transactions and play a key role in maintaining compliance and process efficiency.What We can offer you:

What we trust you to deliver:
- Process and manage creditor payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with taxation and Council policies.
- Oversee invoice distribution, reconciliations, and creditor record management.
- Support Council’s purchasing function, including purchase order reviews and payment allocations.
- Provide high-level customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
What you will need to be successful:
- Relevant qualification in Business, Accounting Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Previous experience coordinating accounts payable, purchasing, or finance-related roles.
- Ability to manage high workloads and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to drive improvements within Creditors or similar finance functions.

Term Contract: 70 hours a fortnight
