Description:
The Intake case manager is responsible for ensuring an effective, high-quality delivery of rehabilitation services to individual clients through the management of the referral, assessment, intake process as well as providing administration support to the AOD Program Manager. This will involve working under the direction of the AOD Program manager, building strong and influential relationships, for the purpose of providing alcohol and other drug (AOD) specialist support required to facilitate recovery and rehabilitation from (AOD) problematic use, including volatile substances and co-morbidity. Provided support is to be culturally sensitive and compliant with the structured program and service delivery agreements. The intake case manager will be required to actively seek out participants for the Venndale program by managing referrals into the programs, networking with stakeholders to receive referrals and undertake assessments. The role will at times require visits to the community to meet with prospective clients. The Administration support will require you to be the front-line point of contact for the Venndale Residential Rehabilitation Service, responsible for helping the Program Manager maintain effective, efficient, and high-quality operational and administrative systems that includes but is not limited to; office administration, compliance requirements, the maintenance and integrity of the data systems.

Salary Range: $79,268.96 per annum (pro-rata)
Entitlements/Benefits: 6 Weeks Annual Leave + 2 Weeks Sick Leave + 2 Weeks Ancillary Leave + 1 RDO per Month

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week – 7.5 hours per day [Monday to Friday | 09:00am – 5:30pm]
Key Responsibilities:
Service Delivery
- Service delivery based from funding agreements
• Monitor and manage Venndale’s admissions email and support link inbox.
• Book and undertake assessments for the Venndale Alcohol and Other Drug Residential Rehabilitation Service
• Manage the Venndale booking, and client wait list.
• Manage the data associated with referrals and intake for reporting purposes.
• Assist in the preparation of the agenda and minutes for the Venndale review panel meeting.
• Attend relevant meetings.
• Network with relevant stakeholders.
• Complete the intake process with new clients
• To develop an ethical and confidential working relationship with individual clients to provide the appropriate support
• Participate in supervision and case reviews.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and statistical duties as required.
• Provide high level administrative support to the AOD Program Manager including;
• hosting guests, meeting arrangements, meeting minute taking,
• Support with daily operational issues including equipment management.
• Coordinating the ordering and receipt of supplies
• Collating data and implement systems to ensure the effective management of information and data for the program, including client files, and the Client Journey register ensuring these are accessible and up to date.

Working Conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, bend for extended periods and participating in physical activities with clients.
• Occasional travel within the community may be required.
• May be required to work outside of regular business hours for special events or activities.
• May be required to fulfil On-Call duties, scheduled on a rotating roster.
• Working hours 9am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday
Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Other Requirements:
Qualifications
• Certificate II/III/IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs or an equivalent qualification or a willingness to obtain
Experience & Skills
• Experience working in the AOD, Mental Health, Social Emotional Well being or Community Services Sector
• Understanding of the cultural needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work empathetically with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to organise, facilitate, and participate in a variety of administrative and client-centred activities.
• Strong administrative skills, including use of various IT equipment, devices and software systems a proficient understanding of excel and the Microsoft Office swept is essential
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Valid NT Drivers Licence
• Valid NT Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card)
• National Police Check
• Influenza Vaccination (yearly)
• Covid-19 Vaccination (preferred but not mandatory)
