About You6+ years’ experience in Hydraulics in building services.Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or civil engineering highly regarded.QBCC licenced.Solid experience Hydraulic services engineering concept to construction completion.Experience in fitout and refurbishment projects would be highly regarded.A curious and proactive nature; advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, along with an ability to think laterally and innovatively.An agility to move between different tasks and projects and manage multiple priorities, including strong time management.Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively, both technically and non-technically.Can do attitude.Routinely demonstrate your ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with the client, project team and internal teams.Previous experience in design, construction or consultancy.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Use latest technology – REVIT/AutoCAD, BIM360, Microsoft Office and One Drive.
Role SpecificsAssist in the delivery hydraulics services engineering, including hot & cold water, sanitary plumbing & drainage, storm water drainage, gas services, domestic wastewater treatment systems, and commercial wastewater and drainage.Maintain a technical understanding and knowledge base in hydraulics.Carry out design calculations and return briefs, whilst working to project timelines and budget.Project involvement through all phases of a project.Direct client engagement throughout the project lifecycle.Carry out project administration such as scheduling, estimating and report preparation.Problem-solve complex design challenges, delivering great solutions for our clients.Multi-discipline team and project management.Client/ design meetings and site inspections.Satisfy codes, standards, project and quality requirements.Keep abreast of new technologies to ensure BSE are offering and understand the latest solutions, products and iterations.Further develop your communication through gaining exposure to external stakeholders such as architects, interior designers, developers, contractors, other services consultants, local authorities and councils to refine designs to coordinate through the design and project delivery phases.
